Dave put out a blog challenge during his session for people to make a word cloud from their blogs. Although I'd done something similar when featuring other people's blog posts in the past, it had never occurred to me to make a word cloud from my own posts; however, it's a cool idea, so here goes...
Of course, as I have several blogs, you get three for the price of one ;-)

What does this say about the content of my blogs, I wonder? Do you think these word clouds give an accurate picture of the type of things I tend to blog about?
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Hello Sue!
What colourful word clouds you've created! They look great!
As to what they reflect, these are my thoughts:
In the cloud from the PLN Staff lounge, the highlighted words are: blog, posts, teaching, teacher, learner among others. This fact shows that mosts posts are about what teachers blog and that the most repeated topics are connected to teaching learners.
The words that stand out in the cloud from Free English lessons Online are: English, intermediate, elementary, activities. Most of the posts include activities for different levels. The months of the year are also highlighted and it shows organisation.
The words that attracted my attention from the Edtech Hub are Twitter, share, comments, tools. I consider this implies what Twitter can be used for as a means to share helpful tools and educators' comments.
That's my personal interpretation. I hope you agree.
Regards,
Marisa
Hi Sue!
I will agree with Marisa on how colourful your word clouds are - and I love the shapes, they're really cool!
Words that came out like teacher, teaching and learner show what you focus on in your posts in the PLN Staff Lounge and that is great! I love the reflections coming from these word clouds : )
In the Free English lessons English, activities show what great work you are doing on there to help all learners and teachers! What would we do without your activities? : )
And in the last one I love that Twitter came up big (that is how I "met" you and lots of other super people!), comments and share. What a reflection this one and how much sharing goes on every day!
Thank you so much for these and for everything, Sue!
Kindest regards,
Vicky
I "like" all three, and owe you a thank you as well. Your VRT presentation and the wordles you shared were so cool that I'm now a wordle addict. :)
Cheers, Brad
Hi Sue,
Thanks for this treble! I see the edtech focus comes through strongly but I wonder why Patrick is so prominent in the Free English Lessons Online cloud - a recurring character? :)
Thanks for your comments, folks! Much appreciated... am still reflecting on all this myself, and will probably swing back at some point with my further thoughts on things :-)
I can't help but wonder why Patrick is so prominent as well, Dave... Maybe we ought to appoint him as the blog's patron?.. Or at least for the month of March, anyway... what do you think? ;-)
Sue
