Thanks to all of you who came to my talk - I hope you enjoyed it!

Links to the free offline tools I talked about can be found here. I'll upload tutorials for them once I've finished catching up with work and other stuff that has piled up while I've been away :-)
(original post follows)

My Talk is called "Teaching with Technology: Plan B", and I'll be focusing on practical suggestions for keeping lessons flowing if the Internet goes down or other technology fails in the classroom.
I'll be demonstrating quick fixes for some common equipment and software problems, and looking at examples of user friendly tools that can be used to create standalone activities for backup when technology based lessons don't turn out as planned.
Hopefully the tech gods will be smiling down on me on the day, although if they are not, I will of course have a Plan B up my sleeve to pull out and use as an alternative (have you guessed what it is, yet? ;-)
Any last minute suggestions for issues you would like me to cover in my talk? Feel free to leave a comment and if I can think of a fix for them, I'll try and fit them in.
Date of Session: Tuesday 19 April 2011
Time: 12:25 -13:10
Venue: Syndicate 4
Hope to see you there!
Sue :-)

Hello!
Sounds like a perfect session for me! Will be there!
Marisa
Good luck, Sue. I am sure you will be fab! I've still to decide fully on the route I'm going to take through the sessions, but I echo Marisa in that I could do with some hints and tips for when it all goes techy-pear-shaped!

Hi Sue
I am sure it's going to be a fab session and one I would dearly love to attend. Sadly, I won't be able to attend as I'm leaving on Monday afternoon.
However, I will definitely watch out for you at the conference and hope to meet you very soon in person:)
Janet
Thanks for your comments, everyone!
I hope those of you who managed to make it enjoyed it and found it useful... I'll be doing the talk online sometime over the summer, so I'll post a link when I know the date for anyone who is interested.
Sue :-)
